Custom Toms Shoes Design by BP Illustration

I am proud to announce the opening of my Etsy shop where I will start by selling custom hand-drawn shoes with my artwork.  I am taking on a new venture as a way to spread my art and create awesome pieces.  I really enjoy drawing on tangible items and one day started drawing on my wife's shoes to give them some more personality.  I very much support the Toms Shoes company mission of One-for-One and love what a great canvas they make. 

I want to create custom pieces based on the customer's ideas.  You give me your idea, whether it be a color, animal, name, etc. and I use my talent and concepts to design a beautiful custom pair for only you.  These make great gifts and can be given to men, women and children!

Sneak Peek at what's in the works...

After much support from my family and friends, I have decided to take on a new venture in life.  This is just a sneak peek of what's to come, more info about how you can be wearing your own custom pair of shoes will be announced soon!

Explore a little

I was able to tag along to the Exploratorium where my lovely wife is photographer. She was shooting an event and I was there with my sketch book walking around drawing various exhibits and fellow explorers. I drew fast that day and only came out with these two images that were finished enough for my likes. I did get a lot onto paper though and many of these quick sketches have sparked mt imagination for future drawings!

 There were a series of these things all various sizes. They were part of an exhibit where you try to bounce a small ball through these various hoops.

This was just as it seems. There was a giant blue nose at one exhibit. I'm not sure what the exhibit was for but its always good to draw human anatomy and I had a huge nose right in front of me to practice!

Chalkboard update

Tada! More chalks for your viewing pleasure. This week I was lucky enough to get called to another store and do some chalkboards for them. I didn't have a camera so I made a little video of a calendar header I drew for the Walnut Creek Whole Foods. Ill have a still image of the finished calender up shortly!

Even more signs!

Included in this recent signs update is the finished sushi wall I recently did. As well as a separate sushi sign I drew to go with the new sushi overhaul. Also included are some great holiday signs and an awesome giant crab cut out I got to do! Very fun stuff.
